Yahoo! discontinued their original IM protocol and introduced a new one. The core libpurple doesn't support the new protocol, but an external plugin is available at https://github.com/EionRobb/funyahoo-plusplus

I created a live ebuild for it, pull request is here: https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/2374

Since I use Pidgin to access Yahoo! IM daily, I would like to (proxy-)maintain this package.
