the current license listed as 'BSD' contains the old 'advertise clause' that caused so much headache oh so long ago i suggest we either replace the current BSD file with the newer version (basically remove clause #3 about advertising and rename clause #4 to #3) or make a different one nowadays software uses the new BSD license rather than the old one, and many programs have changed from the old version to the new one ... of course not *all* have but many have ;)
