Description fbusse 2004-08-04 08:50:01 UTC
Besides bumping libosip to 2.0.9 I suggest to change the homepage to http://www.fsf.org/software/osip/ and to mark at least the oldest 2.0.x stable.
I'd also like to see a shorter description, the RfC-pointer is IMHO not necessary and just bloats the output of emerge -s

description for libosip-0.9.7 is a lot shorter now, homepage url has been changed and 0.9.7 is stable on x86 now...

2.0.x will be marked stable as soon as i've checked if some older applications
have the correct dependencies
Comment 2 Sebastian Spaeth 2004-10-25 05:02:33 UTC
Version bump should go to 2.2.0 now. Other projects such as linphone depend on this version.

Ebuild for the version bump

I created a 2.2.0 ebuild. Seems mostly like a maintenance release. Please test
that it compiles for you and put to ~.

(I will look next at the Linphone version bumping and it requires this
library.)

Ebuild with proper header

Sorry, I screwed the header.

Reassigning, needs maintainer.

net-misc/linphone-1.0.1 is now in the tree under testing. Please try it out and
let me know if you still have problems. This also includes a new liosip.
