bidwatcher is now completely broken due to changes in eBay. It should be removed from x86/stable, as it now segfaults on startup if there are existing auctions, or segfaults as soon as one is added otherwise. Patches are being worked on, there is a suggested patch at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=991368&group_id=2973&atid=302973 Can bidwatcher please be reverted to ~x86, and have the latest experimental patch from SF applied to it in the ebuild?
Created attachment 36696 [details, diff] Proposed patch to prevent segfaults. Other outstanding issues remain... This patch is directly from SF. Ending times and/or comments may still be corrupt, but bidwatcher no longer segfaults.
it's badly broken for me as well, nothing works, and there's been no cvs commits for months...revert back to ~x86 sounds like a good idea to me.
