Description Gary HUnt 2016-08-26 22:40:06 UTC
Qtadb segfaults when executing for first time after inputting where adb/appt binaries can be found

Qtadb segfaults immediately when executing after first time

Reproducible: Always

The problem is with the program checking for updates. It may be that the program is no longer being updated thus causing the segfault.

The author of the program has given a workaround. Perhaps we could be the workaround in the DOC_CONTENTS in the ebuild?

"If you receive a segfault on startup edit /home/yourusername/.config/Bracia/QtADB.conf file
and set checkForUpdatesOnStart to "false" as displayed below:

checkForUpdatesOnStart=false""

checkForUpdatesOnStart=false

no "" at the end like last post.
