Description Michał Górny archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2016-08-22 20:38:58 UTC
Since approx. 2016-08-22 18:20Z gentoo-ci started detecting invalid project references in around 25% packages in Gentoo. A quick look shows that multiple projects disappeared from projects.xml. For example, the Qt project (qt@gentoo.org) is missing.

Ok, it's Pacho's fault. He removed Project:Desktop without reparenting subprojects first...

@wiki, can we do something to prevent things like that in the future?

Ok, I've turned all the projects manually into top-level projects. Hopefully I haven't missed any, and the next update will fix it.

The next update seems to have all projects again.

Sorry, it's the first time I did it with the current structure and I didn't know that re-parenting was needed (I thought they would simply go to the "upper" project level)
