=net-misc/gns3-gui-1.5.1 does not compatible latest stable vpcs version (vpcs-0.6). It gives error when i want to create a vpcs host. ERROR vm.py:146 error while starting PC1: VPCS executable version must be >= 0.8b or 0.6.1. But I built latest vpcs version(0.8) ebuild on local portage tree and merge. It works with =net-misc/gns3-gui. No problem. Reproducible: Always

According to the ebuild ewarn message vpcs is currently unsupported with this gns3 version: ewarn "The following packages are currently unsupported:" ewarn "iouyap and vpcs"
Unfortunately VPCS is not supported as the ewarn message states. Hopefully I will get around to packaging it, but at this point I cannot. It looks like simple version mismatches though that you are having.
The problem is that even the actual version in portage suffers of this bug: https://gns3.com/discussions/vpcs-it-just-just-allow-type-one We can use the one proposed by GNS developers 0.6.1 (since the last official version release was in 2015): https://github.com/GNS3/vpcs
