We need to treeclean it per bug 536134 (and many others), then, maybe the optional support should be tweaked to avoid the dep

How is this even possible? mod_python is needed because the package is written almost completely in python... Removing the dependency will force users to install that dependency on their own!

The non-agent-only configuration is now masked. Do we plan to treeclean this as well?

Not strictly needed as soon as mod_python is not needed... anyway I will reassign to maintainers (I don't know why the bug was left in maintainer-needed)
