Created attachment 37221 [details, diff] Patch for a patch :) The patch is failing due to one miserable hunk. Attached is a patch for this patch (however crazy that is :) ).
Hm, this new version will fail if USE="-crypt". Are there any reasons for PATCHES file being patched, since it gets deleted from workdir anyway? This bug seems to have been brought in by <http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=54394>. These two patches don't play together well, just because PATCHES file.
Best way to do this is to change the patch to read --- mutt-1.5.6/PATCHES.nntp_patch 2004-02-11 13:55:21.860736246 -0500 +++ mutt-1.5.6/PATCHES 2004-02-11 13:58:53.687209146 -0500 @@ -0,0 +1,1 @@ +vvv.nntp That allows it to apply regardless of other patches that touch PATCHES. Fixed now
I've got the same with 1.5.8
