Hi all- As the summary suggests, Ardour 5 is out, and this is a major version bump. New features include a tabbed UI, VCAs, tempo ramps, and Lua scripting (which may prove a challenge to integrate; I've not yet tried to compile the tarball on a Gentoo system). No hurry on my behalf, but of course the sooner it's in, the sooner it can be tested and marked stable. -Robin K.

You can pull a tagged checkout from GitHub at https://codeload.github.com/Ardour/ardour/tar.gz/5.0, but it may not share identity with the tarball linked above.
