Just to drop a note in case it went by unnoticed: Due to the great work of George Staikos and Chris Blizzard, KDE 3.3 won't need a Motif anymore to make netscape plugins work. So the (optional) dependency in the ebuild is moot. See also [1,2,3].

this is fixed in 3.3.0_rc1.
