Description Peter Gantner (a.k.a. nephros) 2004-08-01 04:03:13 UTC
Update dash to current version 0.5.1

Changes to the ebuild in portage (0.4.26):
* use the *.orig.tar.gz tarball plus the debian patch as there seems to be no patched tarball. Introduced $DEB_PV for this
* use mirror://debian in $SRC_URI
* do not use the pmake command, but standard econf/emake as 0.5.1 uses autotools and this seems to work fine (and I dont know about the "name conflicts" mentioned in the comment)

I compiled and installed this, manually symlinked it to /bin/sh and ran some init scripts with it for testing. Works fine.

Reproducible: Always

Peter thanks for the ebuild. I made some changes, however. I put this into portage as 0.5.1.1 to follow debian's patchlevel versioning. Thus, the next patchlevel needs only to be renamed, et voila.

I hope that's an acceptable solution.
