Description Andy Wang 2004-07-31 22:43:58 UTC
with gnome 2.6.2 gone stable, gst-plugins-0.8.2 has gone stable also. Unfortunately, all the gst-plugins-* packages are still at 0.8.1 stable. This is causing strangeness with emerge updates. For example, if you do it with gst-plugins-0.8.1 installed, it'll upgrade to 0.8.2. The next update will try to downgrade 0.8.1 because of the plugins. This will keep on going back and forth until 0.8.2 plugins are stable.
