Segmentation fault? ouch.

Is this reliably reproducable on your system, does it always crash in that same place, or not?

Comment 2 Paul Hirst 2004-08-08 13:12:20 UTC
Well, I tried it 3 times, it allways crashed in exactly the same place with exactly the same symptoms. Then I tried adding -d to the emerge command to see if I got any usefull additional output, but then it but then it worked just fine... Surprised that that made any difference, so don't know what to attribute this to...
Comment 3 Mike Gardiner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-22 01:09:06 UTC
Works for you now, is this still a problem? It shouldn't be segfaulting, but reopen if you can look into it further.
