Segmentation fault? ouch. Is this reliably reproducable on your system, does it always crash in that same place, or not?
Well, I tried it 3 times, it allways crashed in exactly the same place with exactly the same symptoms. Then I tried adding -d to the emerge command to see if I got any usefull additional output, but then it but then it worked just fine... Surprised that that made any difference, so don't know what to attribute this to...
Works for you now, is this still a problem? It shouldn't be segfaulting, but reopen if you can look into it further.
