After upgrading to the latest kde packages, audio via bluetooth/A2DP does not work any more, headset profile (HSP/HFP) still works. I've already played with multimedia systemsettings and pavucontrol to fix it, but to no avail, high quality bluetooth audio output is dead, even though pavucontrol shows activity on the bluetooth device's activity monitor (or whatever you call that thing that flickers if there is audio to output). Reproducible: Always
A bit of version information: kde-frameworks 5.24 kde-plasma 5.7.1 kde-apps 16.04.3 media-libs/phonon 4.9.0 USE=designer pulseaudio qt4 qt5 vlc -aqua -debug -gstreamer -zeitgeist media-libs/phonon-vlc 0.9.0 USE=qt4 qt5 -debug media-sound/pulseaudio 9.0 USE=X alsa alsa-plugin asyncns bluetooth caps dbus glib ipv6 native-headset orc ssl tcpd udev webrtc-aec -doc -equalizer -gdbm -gnome -gtk -jack -libressl -libsamplerate -lirc -neon -ofono-headset -oss -qt4 -realtime -selinux -sox -system-wide -systemd -test -xen -zeroconf (but was also broken with pulseaudio 8.0)
I've just discovered that this problem completely PEBKAC. Sorry.
