CMUCL 19a has been released. Please add it to the "testing" release in place of "18e". Source and binaries for x86 Linux and Sparc Solaris are available at

will be committed to portage as soon as cl-* ports are known to build (package 
locks are new in 0.8.13 and 19a) progress is here

I run all four "major" LISP environments (CMUCL, CLISP, GCL and SBCL) on at least one of my machines. I would prefer to have only CMUCL, but CLISP is the only open source "real LISP" that works on Windows, so I have that for compatibility testing. By the way, when you upgrade to CMUCL 19a, you have to recompile all LISP code that's compiled to FASL. Does the "Common LISP Controller" take care of this?
