Description teedog 2004-07-29 12:40:53 UTC
I am using gentoo-dev-sources-r11. My CPU is a Pentium-M 745 (1.8 GHz). I see the following message in dmesg:
speedstep-centrino: found unsupported CPU with Enhanced SpeedStep: send /proc/cpuinfo to Jeremy Fitzhardinge <jeremy@goop.org>

I meant gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.7-r11.
Comment 2 teedog 2004-08-15 17:33:26 UTC
I've updated to gentoo-dev-sources-2.6.8 and I still get the same message in dmesg:

speedstep-centrino: found unsupported CPU with Enhanced SpeedStep: send /proc/cpuinfo to Jeremy Fitzhardinge <jeremy@goop.org>

Great, I suggest you follow the instructions the kernel is telling you to do.

This is an upstream kernel.org issue. Please contact the email address that
the kernel is asking you to, there's nothing the gentoo developers can do
about this, sorry.
