Description Alan McKinnon 2016-06-29 17:54:01 UTC
kde-apps/kde4-l10n-16.04.2 causes many file collisions, all in

/usr/share/locale/en_GB/LC_MESSAGES/

I have L10N and LINGUAS set in make.conf and kde-apps/kde4-l10n does have USE=minimal:

LINGUAS="en en_GB en_US en_ZA"
L10N="en en-GB en-US en-ZA"

[ebuild R ] kde-apps/kde-l10n-16.04.2:5::gentoo USE="handbook -debug" LINGUAS="en_GB -ar -ast -bg -bs -ca -ca@valencia -cs -da -de -el -eo -es -et -eu -fa -fi -fr -ga -gl -he -hi -hr -hu -ia -id -is -it -ja -kk -km -ko -lt -lv -mr -nb -nds -nl -nn -pa -pl -pt -pt_BR -ro -ru -sk -sl -sr -sv -tr -ug -uk -wa -zh_CN -zh_TW" 0 KiB
[ebuild U ] kde-apps/kde4-l10n-16.04.2:4/16.04::gentoo [16.04.1-r1:4/16.04::gentoo] USE="handbook minimal (-aqua) {-test}" LINGUAS="en_GB -ar -ast -bg -bs -ca -ca@valencia -cs -da -de -el -eo -es -et -eu -fa -fi -fr -ga -gl -he -hi -hr -hu -ia -id -is -it -ja -kk -km -ko -lt -lv -mr -nb -nds -nl -nn -pa -pl -pt -pt_BR -ro -ru -sk -sl -sr -sv -tr -ug -uk -wa -zh_CN -zh_TW" 0 KiB

My tree is up to date (synced today) and this is the last package to be merge after a full world update.

Thanks. This should be fixed in git now. I will keep the bug open some days.

Thanks.

I'll resync tomorrow and test
Comment 5 Alan McKinnon 2016-06-29 21:51:30 UTC
resynced, and now kde4-l10n works as expected.

Looks like a fix to me :-)
Comment 6 Simon Siemonsma 2016-07-05 18:42:02 UTC
for me the problem still exists.
LINGUAS="en de nl"
L10N="en de nl"

directories where the problems are reported:
/usr/share/locale/nl/LC_MESSAGES
/usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES
/usr/share/doc/HTML/nl
/usr/share/doc/HTML/de
/usr/share/mn/nl/man1

content of /etc/portage/repos.conf/gentoo.conf:
[DEFAULT]
main-repo = gentoo

[gentoo]
location = /usr/portage
sync-type = git
sync-uri = https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo
auto-sync = true

Please attach the failing build log.
Comment 8 Johannes Huber (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2016-07-15 06:46:34 UTC
Please test 16.04.3. 16.04.2 is dropped.
