Once service worker is installed and activated in Chromium 51.0.2704.103, the page hangs in infinite loop once it's closed and trying to visit the same page. Every subsequent request to this page will result in infinite loop until the service worker Running Status is changed to STOPPED. Even thought I closed the page like 5 minutes ago, the cpu load is still hammering one of my cpu cores.

Some more information would be appreciated.  emerge --info chromium and launch chromium from a terminal to see if there is any useful output at a minimum
