Description Frantz FISCHER 2016-06-14 20:18:24 UTC
hi,

I'm applying to co-maintain java Stuff.
Tomcat but I would also gladly help on other java tools (like jEdit, fakeSMTP, ...) that needs to be updated.

thanks,
Frantz.

hi, have you already been in contact with someone from java team? also, i suggest you connect to #gentoo-java irc channel at freenode if you are not there yet.

Hi Franz

Indeed, we talked already.

The thing is, you have to be a bit more specific as to what you wish to maintain and not just "this or that package". So far, we've got:
- www-servers/tomcat

Is that all? What else?
Comment 4 Frantz FISCHER 2016-06-16 20:55:05 UTC
hi,

ok, so here is a list and it is probably more than enough for a beginner :D

www-servers/tomcat
app-editors/jedit
dev-java/tomcat-*
dev-java/jflac
dev-util/pmd
dev-java/ldapsdk
dev-java/itext

and I'd like to add those:

fakesmtp
apache directory studio
jxplorer
