Created attachment 437436 [details] show block pacage I tried to update world this morning and came accross a package (dev-util/gdbus-codegen) that is being blocked by dev-libs/glib. The wiki suggests I can not install or remove the blocking package. However glib is a dependancy for a lot of my packages. gdbus-codegen is being pulled in by cups-filters. Should I just prevent that upgrade?

The output is pretty clear on what you need to do. You allowed the unstable/testing dev-libs/glib but are keeping dev-util/gdbus-codegen as stable. [blocks B ] <dev-util/gdbus-codegen-2.48.0 ("<dev-util/gdbus-codegen-2.48.0" is blocking dev-libs/glib-2.48.0-r1) The block means that you need a version of dev-util/gdbus-codegen greater than or equal to 2.48.0 which is currently masked. This is not a bug but a configuration error. I suggest seeking support for errors like this in #gentoo on freenode IRC or on the forums.
Ok will do thank you.
