Description Tom 2016-06-12 13:15:34 UTC
Hello,

it's not quite a bug, but I've seen, that the kde-toys package has been marked for removal, so I needed to unmask the kde amor package, as I like to see the cat (neko) running above my windows. :)

Is there a chance, that this amusing cat will still run under qt5/kde5?

THX and CU Tom

Hi Tom,

kdetoys was killed upstream:

* kteatime was moved to kdeutils
* amor was killed because it has a lot of X11-specific code that can't be ported to Wayland
* ktux was killed because Plasma 5 doesn't do screensavers

While amor and ktux are no longer supported and being removed from the main Gentoo repo, you could copy the ebuilds to a local overlay or make use of the KDE Sunset overlay which contains all the old KDE stuff.
