Old-world ROM. Handbook says to copy G3 kernel Linux Kernels folder in Mac OS System folder; a procedure I'm familiar with since I've been running Yellowdog 3 for over a year. Problem is, there ain't no stinkin' G3 kernel on the CD! Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Mount the CD ROM 2.Browse its boot directory 3.No G3 subdirectory Expected Results: Should have a subdirectory for G3 kernels
if you check the yaboot.conf file you'll see that the G4 kernel provides both G3 and G4 support. Use the G4 kernel.
