Description Chris L. Mason 2004-07-26 12:00:26 UTC
dev-libs/atk-1.6.1 builds and installs okay on macos. Note that I haven't actually
tested any apps that link against it yet. Maybe it could be marked "~macos"?
Comment 1 Hasan Khalil (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-26 19:33:52 UTC
I'm working on this and all the gtk2 deps :)
Comment 2 Chris L. Mason 2004-07-26 19:51:02 UTC
Awesome. Let me know if you want me to test anything.
Comment 3 Pieter Van den Abeele (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-08-18 18:42:09 UTC
fixed in cvs
Comment 4 Chris L. Mason 2004-09-19 13:42:18 UTC
I do not see the macos keyword in any of the atk ebuilds. Maybe it didn't get checked in?

Thanks.
Comment 5 Pieter Van den Abeele (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-24 18:41:09 UTC
We're still working on getting all of the dependencies working correctly. We'll follow up as soon as all deps have been tested.
Comment 6 Lina Pezzella (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-10-08 20:31:45 UTC
All reverse dependencies depend on gtk, so there is nothing to test this library with until Bug 62069 is resolved.
Comment 7 Frank Bartunek 2006-07-17 02:52:16 UTC
dev-libs/atk-1.11.4 is broken. configure.ac is missing, and a while ago it was complaining about the absense of NEWS and AUTHORS, both "useless" text files as compilers are concerned.

Emerge dies with:

***** aclocal *****

aclocal-1.9: `configure.ac' or `configure.in' is required

Presumably this is an upstream problem, and presumably there is some patch that we could apply that would solve it.

After using ufed to browse and set some use flags i tried to rebuild
my installation (emerge --update --newuse --deep world) which
at one point gave me the attached error. Any hints appreciated.

This is an OSX specific bug, don't pollute it with other arches, please.
atk-1.12.1 needs GLIB, so it won't compile anytime soon on OSX.
