Well this clearly needs to be reported upstream, we can't fix it in gentoo.

Maybe a version bump to
https://github.com/smplayer-dev/smplayer-themes/releases/tag/v20.11.0
or git head helps.

I did a look at
https://github.com/smplayer-dev/smplayer-themes/tree/master/themes
and the "broken" files have not been changed since 2014.

Please test with smplayer-themes git head and report still existing broken at
https://github.com/smplayer-dev/smplayer-themes/issues
