This bug shows the same behaviour as bug #580844 but for dev-util/kdevelop-4.90.91. Some modal dialogs do not open properly but only render the frame of the dialog. The background is still visible through the window. After that the whole application freezes. Steps to reproduce: Start kdevelop, open some file, select "Project -> Open project of current file ...", modal dialog renders frame and application freezes. It is always reproducible and this is not the only affected dialog. Bug #580844 was about the same symptoms but for the PIM suite. Besides the PIM suite and kdevelop the rest of my system is from the Gentoo main portage tree, i.e. kde-apps/...-15.12.3, kde-frameworks/...-5.22 and kde-plasma/...-5.6.4. I have another box with the identical setup, nearly the same USE flags (except for hardware-related use flags) and everything works fine. The major difference between both boxes is the graphic card (nouveau vs. integrated intel).
Does this persist in 5.0.0 final?
