Hi! Please find attached guitoo-0.40.0.ebuild. Guitoo is a frontend to Gentoo Portage built in QT for KDE. In Guitoo offers multiples views showing "My World", "Portage tree" and "Upgradable packages". Guitoo implements also a basic frontend to the emerge toll with an "emerge queue". Please visit http://guitoo.sourceforge.net/index.php for more info. I suggest app-portage/guitoo as category. /Karim

has the qt-3.3.2-problem - see http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=220728&highlight=guitoo - maybe simply put 3.3.3+ as depend ...
Would it be possible to know if guitoo can be accepted in Portage tree? Or if some issues have surfaced.
the latest is guitoo-0.46.1
New release today at http://osdn.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/guitoo/guitoo-0.47.0.ebuild
Thanks a lot Karim, I'm adding kde@gentoo.org to the cc-list, because maybe they are willing to add this to the tree as this is a qt/kde-application. It seems that Karim is doing fine developing this program and maintaining the ebuild. Now if someone with CVS-access could commit this to the tree ;-)
I've cleaned out the ebuild, there were a lof of unneeded stuffs. Can you try it? Some questions: Can someone also explain me the fetching problem? I've removed it because for me the download from the sourceforge mirrors worked flawlessy. Also the need-kde 3.3.3* has no sense for me... for the kde-functions.eclass he just means 3*. Does someone exactly know the real min needed kde version?

Tried the new ebuild, works perfectly. 1. I wrote the guitoo.ebuild based on another package's ebuild, that's why the "fetching problem" came along. It doesn't seem necessary. 2. Some users couldn't emerge guitoo because of a bug in qt. It is fixed in qt-3.3.2. I didn't have any problem emerging guitoo in KDE 3.2.3 though. 3. "need-kde 3.3.3*" is a typo! Should be "need-kde 3.3".
I've committed it to CVS, I've also added a "need-qt 3.2" as reported in this bug and on the forums.
