In my home-directory is a file called .xsession-errors.
This file ate up my whole free space on the system-partition when itr got up to 2.1GB size.
Is there a way to stop X making this log-file.

No logging of X-Errors.

you neglected to include `emerge info` or xfree/xorg-x11 version, so re-open once you do
