Description Martin Mokrejš 2016-05-14 21:30:40 UTC
It seems to me there is a space missing before '-d' in libcmis-0.5.1/config.log:

configure:17787: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-g++ -o conftest -O2 -pipe -maes -mpclmul -mpopcnt -mavx -march=native -Wall -pedantic -Weffc++ -Wshadow -Wendif-labels -Wextra -Wsign-promo -Woverloaded-virtual -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wsign-promo   -Wl,-O1 -Wl,--as-needed -L/lib64 conftest.o -lboost_program_options-d  >&5
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/5.3.0/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: cannot find -lboost_program_options-d
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
configure:17796: $? = 1
configure:17907: result: no
configure: failed program was:
| /* confdefs.h */
| #define PACKAGE_NAME "libcmis"
| #define PACKAGE_TARNAME "libcmis"
| #define PACKAGE_VERSION "0.5.1"
| #define PACKAGE_STRING "libcmis 0.5.1"
| #define PACKAGE_BUGREPORT ""
| #define PACKAGE_URL ""
| #define PACKAGE "libcmis"
| #define VERSION "0.5.1"

Or is this a dupe of bug #569614?

Provided I had no problems to compile libcmis so far but now sys-devel/boost-m4-0.4_p20160328 was installed using gcc-5.3.0 compiler , I suspect that to be the cause.

I emerge --synced 10 minutes ago? Is this really an "upgrade"?

Sorry, my eyes are tired, forget this question. I missed the '0.5.1' part.
Comment 4 Martin Mokrejš 2016-05-14 22:08:43 UTC
An attempt to re-emerge dev-cpp/libcmis-0.5.0-r1 gives same error in libcmis-0.5.0/config.log
Comment 5 Martin Mokrejš 2016-05-15 18:54:06 UTC
After upgrade from boost-build-1.57 and boost-1.57 both to 1.60 I have no longer the issue with gcc-5.3.0.
