Created attachment 433208 [details] Output of emerge --info I am trying to use TOR control application called arm (net-misc/arm). The application looks quite buggy in general (for example, sometimes it hangups without any visible reason), but there is one bug which is easy to reproduce. On some terminals, when I try to edit string configuration parameters, the backspace key does not work. This is present in konsole and lynx, but not in the "standard" linux terminal (reachable by ctrl+alt+f1). I believe this is somehow related to gentoo, not just arm, because on debian I don't see such backspace bug (neither in konsole, nor in tmux). Steps to reproduce: 1. run arm 2. in the first startup menu, choose "Client" (and press enter) 3. In the second startup menu, choose "Circuit duration". You will be prompted to edit the default configuration string, "10 minutes". 4. Press backspace (imagine you want to replace "10 minutes" with "1 hour". Expected results: the text disappears Actual results: nothing happens Reproducible: always
