Description Yuta SATOH (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-07-24 06:39:35 UTC
I have verified that this package works for ppc64.
If this version is sufficient, please add to the ~ppc64 KEYWORDS.

In my environment, when a configuration of a sound system was set to "Autodetect", SIGSEGV occurred.

This problem is avoidable by setting it as "Open Sound System" .

Thanks Yuta! I've marked 1.3.0 as stable, I know you've got actual sound hardware, care to double check the new version just to be extra sure?
Comment 3 Yuta SATOH (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-19 04:18:10 UTC
I checked operation again by the USB audio device.

When only arts, kdebase, and kdelibs were installed, the sound test of a KDE control center was played without problems.
However, when it added to it and kdemultimedia was installed, only the noise was played by the sound test.

I think that I solve the problem about this kdemultimedia by bug #63231.
Comment 4 Yuta SATOH (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2004-09-19 04:32:11 UTC
I applied and tested the patch shown by bug #63231.
And I have checked playing without a noise.
From this result, I think that there is no problem in arts.

Thank You.

um...
Possibly I made a mistake in grammar.
