Bug 58172 – mozilla 1-7 compile fails on amd64

I've tried a couple a times, but I still get the same error.
I searched the bug.gentoo.org.. but I didn't find any report of the same bug.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -U world
2.he start's on mozilla 1-7
3.error

Actual Results:

So: aborting at linker.c line 2596 in _bfd_default_link_order.. the problem
should be here.

Expected Results:  
well.. compile and work.

can you downgrade binutils to 2.15.90.0.1.1-r3 and try again?

that's the version I've got.

how about recompiling without -O3? i've been using that version of binutils for a bit now and it compiled mozilla 1.7 fine, but i compiled it using gcc 3.4.1.
