Description Brian Dolbec (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2016-04-30 20:53:40 UTC
This overlay is for minimal test case ebuilds to test various aspects of repoman or any other application regarding ebuilds and Q/A.

The owners should be the portage team, but it should be open to all devs at this point to help get it populated.

We'll establish some rules and post to the -dev list to help get it populated.

This overlay will help in maintaining any Q/A application's code development. Providing a consistent verified test db that can be used for testing and verification.

Reproducible: Always

What category should this be in?

data/
proj/
repo/(something)/
Comment 2 Brian Dolbec (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2016-04-30 22:21:22 UTC
We pick data, as it is data used for q/a testing the q/a tester ;)
It will contain no real usable package ebuilds or otherwise useful things.

It will be strictly for testing that Q/A code is working correctly, reporting only when it should...

Hold off a bit, we're coming up with a better name...

OK, mgorny pointed out that data is intended for end user data files, this might be better suited to proj/.

In that direction since it will be a repository...

Repo created, populate it and then it will show up in gitweb.
It has been set to REQUIRE signed pushes as a best practice.

Crap, there was a comment conflict and I didn't see it hadn't gone through until this morning.

I'll recreate
