pygccxml 1.7.3 is now in PyPI. The upstream has moved to https://github.com/gccxml/pygccxml, with a doc site at https://pygccxml.rtfd.org.

As an alternative to the now-succeeded gccxml, castxml support has been added in 1.7.0.

PS: I guess the architecture KEYWORDS can be updated to be the same as dev-cpp/gccxml too. (And gccxml architectures should be like gcc...)

The clang-based CastXML package haven't been tagged yet, and it's only available in overlays.

pygccxml 1.7.4 is Python3-capable. They run Python 2.6, 2.7, 3.2, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5 on Travis CI: https://travis-ci.org/gccxml/pygccxml
