Description Alexandre 2016-04-23 19:53:26 UTC
Please add libressl support to spotify.

I do not know how to proper update the ebuild then I just removed it from RDEPEND and compiled spotify with libressl already installed. Spotify is working.

Thanks!

Reproducible: Always

libressl team, I'm not sure how you test this or how you prefer adding it as a virtual or whatever, but I'm open to suggestions. Does chromium work with libressl? because that's what spotify is based on.

I had to remove [ssl] from "net-print/cups[ssl]" in order to compile Spotify without it trying to pull openssl. I do not know what [ssl] do/means there. May you it point out to me?

Thanks! And sorry about this the mistake.

We need to add libressl support to cups.

Sorry to spoil the fun, but cups doesnt depend on openssl either... :/

Alexandre, we need the output of "emerge -ptv spotify" (the important part is the -t) to be able to do anything.

(For the record, my libreoffice test chroot finds a depree just fine that contains both cups and spotify...)
Comment 8 Alexandre 2016-04-30 19:48:58 UTC
Ok, just give a little time because I had to revert back to openssl in order to easy upgrade KDE.

Hum, it is a shame, now Spotify rebuild without problem. Sorry for that.
