Description Robert T Childers 2004-07-23 10:58:59 UTC
After running emerge sync at 12:00 pm CST July 23rd, 2004, and then running emerge -uD --ask world I recieved the following error message

emerge: there are no masked or unmasked ebuilds to satisfy "x11-wm/gnustep-env".

!!! Problem with ebuild x11-wm/afterstep-1.8.11-r2
!!! Possibly a DEPEND/*DEPEND problem.

!!! Depgraph creation failed.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge sync
2.emerge -uD --ask world
3.

Actual Results:
Error as described above.

Expected Results:
emerge should have finished the dependency check.

After searching for bugs on afterstep and on gnustep-env I found that
gnustep-env is in gnustep-base/gnustep-env not x11-wm/gnustep-env. I modified
afterstep-1.8.11-r2.ebuild's Depends section from x11-wm/gnustep-env to
gnustep-base/gnustep-env. I placed the severity of the bug at Major because
even though it stops emerge from finishing the solution is a simple change in
the ebuild depends, however first time users wouldn't know where to look or
how to fix a broken ebuild.

Looks like Mr_bones took care of this. Thanks.
