Bug 580806 – app-admin/conky: does not work with plasma 5 if the config contains use_xft yes

My conky.conf has:

use_xft yes
xftfont Courier 10 Pitch:size=10

That does not work after the upgrade to plasma 5


This is the output:

~ $ conky
Conky: desktop window (1a0000f) is subwindow of root window (4aa)
Conky: drawing to desktop window
Conky: drawing to single buffer
X Error of failed request:  BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
  Major opcode of failed request:  138 (RENDER)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  4 (RenderCreatePicture)
  Serial number of failed request:  405
  Current serial number in output stream:  411

A conditional warning message in post_inst in the package will handle this. Removing kde from cc.

This is fixed in latest release 1.11.5

Apparently fixed upstream in 1.11.5.
