Thank you for reporting this! Alec Ari
Are you willing to keep maintaining LXDE as proxy-maint? The LXDE project is currently empty
If you're talking to me, I'll be hosting a repo on github for security and LXDE related packages. Alec Ari
I was talking to both, lxde project is empty and looking for new people: http://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:LXDE I think Hanno already shown some interest to join in mailing list, then, I am not sure what would be the best option to join all this efforts :/ I will CC proxy-maint and hanno. For proxy-maint I am not sure how to deal with this when a project is involved instead of an individual. Maybe the Project could list "proxy-maint" as the maintainer and, then, they would also add to metadatas the concrete external maintainer
Bump committed. I can't reproduce the desktop validation issue. Please open a separate bug if this still appears. As for proxy maintaining: I'm currently in the process of bumping all lxde packages. If you have improvements to contribute please open bugs. If it's more that you want to contribute we can talk about proxy maintainership. If you want to host an overlay that's of course okay, but I'd hope this won't be needed because we can have up-to-date packages in the main portage tree.
