After updating to thunderbird 45.0, every time I tried to create an event in calendar, a pop-u window opens with the following message:

Errore interpretazione XML: entità non definita
Indirizzo: chrome://calendar/content/calendar-event-dialog.xul
Riga numero 1216, colonna 23:                      <checkbox id="notify-attendees-checkbox"
----------------------^

Which translates, roughly, as:
Error paring XML: undefined entity
Address: chrome://calendar/content/calendar-event-dialog.xul
Line 1216, column 23:<checkbox id="notify-attendees-checkbox"

Such an error is sill present even in a new profile.

I'm going to take a guess that this may be a langpack issue.  I'll re-roll the lightning langpacks and see if that helps, sometimes the mozilla l10n team is a little slower on releases.

I think you're right.
In a terminal

LANG=C thunderbird

doesn't have this issue

OK I've just a new langpack for lightning and updated the references in thunderbird-45.0.ebuild ; if you can re-emerge and let me know if the error goes away I would appreciate it.
