Could you please attach a backtrace?
Comment 2 Noah James McNallie 2016-04-15 15:26:06 UTC
I think this may be related to me lowering my silicon life from over-clocking from an issue I though and think I had previously reverted by turning off all cpu over-clocks. I have not had any issue emptying tree and compiling the new system although.

Although kmail in particular is acting strange. I will accept to close this ticket although. I have ran memtest 86 and stress without any crashes or errors.
Comment 3 Noah James McNallie 2016-04-15 15:38:40 UTC
Also to note, it does not crash it freezes. Although, I have attached gdb and will let it sit for a while to try and provide you with more information.
Comment 4 Noah James McNallie 2016-04-15 15:47:36 UTC
It snaps out of it after a few minutes
Comment 5 Noah James McNallie 2016-04-16 04:52:11 UTC
Well I installed plasma 5 and kmail will not run for anakoni errors with dbus probably having to do with being plasma 5 and kmail from kde4 so i'm using gnome 3 and evolution until kmail 5.x is in mainstream

I take it you can close this, sorry
Comment 6 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2016-04-16 09:25:45 UTC
If you have dbus errors then it is a problem related to prelinking. See also bug 579546

Ok then.
