apparently korganizer uses some kind of autostart mechanism that only works with kde4 and not plasma5 - this pretty much makes the whole thing unusable (or at least very annoying). until korganizer itself gets updated from upstream, it would be great if at least a workaround for this could be provided.

yes, but that makes it start maximized instead of going into the system tray as expected. you are a bit quick with "resolved" here i think :(

I have a similar problem even with KF5-based version of akregator, so I'm not sure it's specific to KDE4-based PIM.
