alsaplayer output

When I try to play some MP3s in Alsaplayer, it crashes. Mplayer, MPV and VLC play it fine. MADplay correctly plays those files and then gets a segmentation fault, also it gets segmentation fault if you try to skip the playing file.

Same for ALSA and NULL output.

The problematic files were encoded by LAME 3.98 (from Gentoo) around March 2009. The attached file was cut down with mp3split.

Same issue here with alsaplyer-0.99.81. The current git code work fine with the pro-audio overlay's ebuild.
