I tarred /chroot/xmail

Ran emerge rsync but after emerge -s xmail, 1.20 did not appear as the latest version. 

I sent to /usr/portage/mail-mta/xmail/ and emerge the 1.20 ebuild directly

This updated everything seemlessly, and once I etc-updated and re-ran the daemon through your beautiful init.d scripts, there wasn't one single known problem

the backup was a necessary waste of time
