Proposed changes

Hello,
media-sound/pms-9999 can't currently be merged, as the git repository has moved to https://github.com/ambientsound/pms .
Therefore, I propose to change EGIT_REPO_URI.
Additionally, the developer has shifted from boost::regex to STL, therefore the dependency induced by the USE flag can be safely removed.
At last, upstream pms depends on media-libs/libmpdclient.
Attached is a patch which addresses above issues.

OK, not sure what has just happened. Anyway, the suggested changes make sense, however it would be great if while at it you could introduce a couple of others:
 - the live ebuild still uses the deprecated EAPI 2, could you update it to 6?
 - the ncurses dependency does not have the slot specified, it would be good to clarify which one(s) work.

By the way, from what I can see the upstream home page has changed as well - the SourceForge link still works but it redirects to https://ambientsound.github.io/pms/ .

Final patch

Attached is a patch, which incorporates changes proposed by myself and Marek earlier, as well as changes for fixing build with ncurses[tinfo] and updates to the necessary metadata.

Please, reassign the bugs *after* updating metadata.xml with the new maintainer. It's not the first time a reassignment gets interrupted at some point in the process and, later, we need to look for the bugs to reassign them back.

In summary, reassign the bugs after the maintainer is changed "officially" in the tree with the updated metadata
