Created attachment 429498 [details, diff] Add documentation for idn USE flag Hi there, Currently we have: equery uses ghostscript-gpl [...] idn : Enable support for Internationalized Domain Names [...] But digging into the source of ghostscript we discover that 'idn' enables support for non-ASCII passwords in PDF documents using libidn[0]. Below you find a patch which adds a more specific USE flag description for 'idn'. At a second though, we can even think of renaming the USE flag 'idn' to 'unicode' stating its effect more clearly. Attached is also a patch for that (based on ghostscript-9.18 but should also be applicable to the other ones) [0] http://www.ghostscript.com/doc/9.15/History9.htm#2010-05-03T164816.934577Z
Created attachment 429500 [details, diff] Rename 'idn' to 'unicode' and add documentation for it Patch for renaming 'idn' to 'unicode' and adding documentation for it. Note that this patch and the patch for the documentation of 'idn' conflict with each other, so only apply one.
