Agnese of Unixstickers, the biggest e-commerce of Free Software and Open Source merchandise contacted the trustees by email because They would want to formalize an agreement with the Gentoo Foundation for the selling of Gentoo's merchandise.
<hat type="PR">Our logo is messed up. The font is similar, but not the real deal, the trademark symbol was removed. This should be fixed first.</hat>
a3li: can you comment on the updated logo? trustees have approved
I've seen updated drafts, but http://www.unixstickers.com/tag/gentoo-stickers still lists two(!) wrong renderings.
Gentoo stickers are no longer available at this URL, shall we close or keep this open? -A
(In reply to Alec Warner from comment #4) > Gentoo stickers are no longer available at this URL, shall we close or keep > this open? > > -A The site has moved to https://www.stickermule.com/ and still retains the "Unixstickers" moniker. I have emailed them to see if they still intend to carry a sticker with our logo. "The Gentoo Linux distribution has an open request [1] for the former Unixstickers website to ship a sticker with our trademarked logo. We are inquiring whether Stickermule, having carried on Unixstickers, is still interested in working with Gentoo to provide customers with a choice of a Gentoo sticker? Please reply to trustees@gentoo.org -Aaron"
Update: I received an email from Stefano at Stickermule on June 11 regarding the above inquiry. The company is interested in recreating their "pro-pack" [1] of stickers to include Gentoo. Stefano has also requested that Gentoo assist in spreading the word of the updated pro-pack. I believe this can be proposed in a motion as well to add Stickermule as a sponsor of sorts. I have replied to Stefano and included the trustees on the email. [1]: https://www.stickermule.com/products/unixstickers-pro-pack
The stickermule link no longer shows anything Gentoo-specific: https://www.stickermule.com/user/1070792095/stickers antarus: maybe remove them in the meantime?
