When attempting emerge samba, I get the following error:
     !!! Digest verification failed:
     !!! /usr/portage/net-fs/samba/samba-4.2.9.ebuild
     !!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size
     !!! Got: 6857
     !!! Expected: 6848

I have already attempted to fix this by deleting all the
files under /usr/portage/net-fs/samba/ and doing a new
emerge --sync to a different rsync mirror. I get the
same problem.
This install is about 1 day old. 
Another user is getting the same error, as stated in the
forums:

I hope that I have provided all the necessary information to
fix this.

I just got samba-4.2.9 to compile and install.
So it looks like this bug is already fixed!
A big Thank You to whoever fixed it, especially so quickly. :)
