Description Tom Hosiawa 2004-07-20 14:09:15 UTC
While emerging crypt++-2.91, and running genlop-0.20.2 to show the currently compiling packages it crashes with the following error:

Nested quantifiers in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/^(.*?):  >>> emerge .*?\)(.*?/crypt++ <-- HERE .*?)to // at /usr/bin/genlop line 375, <e_log> line 2.

NOTE: genlop didn't crash while compiling different packages (eg. evolution), so it seem it's crypt++ specific. Also, the same thing happens with genlop-0.30.2

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge --nodeps crypt++
2. genlop --current

Comment 3 Richard Hartmann 2005-04-07 14:51:31 UTC
I have the same problem with different packages.
I use genlop 0.30.2. I got the following error:

"!!! Error: no working merge found"

In the backgound I have a merge of

kde-base/kdebase-3.3.2-r2

running. The problem showed up also with other merges,
I can't remember anymore.

The same goes for libstdc++-v3...
