The lone ebuild, a hope for Liberalism in a madly Conservative world.

Hello!

Liberal Crime Squad is a roguelike ncurses RPG based loosely on the 1983 RPG Oubliette. Originally developed by Tarn and Zach Adams (developers of Dwarf Fortress), the game was developed until late 2004, after which the source code to the game was released under the GNU Public License Version 2. Development of the game was resumed in 2007 by several developers from the Bay 12 Games community and was led by Jonathan S. Fox.

This ebuild is for the last stable version of Liberal Crime Squad, Version 4.07.0, released in 2013 by Jonathan. Development on the game continues, however, no new stable release has been made since then.

The objective of Liberal Crime Squad is to recruit others to your cause of averting complete Conservative control of the United States government. To accomplish this goal, the player must sway public opinion with Liberal Activism while combating hostile Conservative forces.

This game should be a timely addition to the Gentoo repository for anyone following the United States election cycle this year.

This application definitely belongs in games-roguelike with its younger sibling dwarf-fortess.

The only dependency is ncurses, and presently the stable source code is pulled from the Liberal Crime Squad svn repository hosted by SourceForge.
