Description Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2016-02-29 19:12:41 UTC
I am using it for a long time and it looks to work fine. Maybe we could stabilize it finally

Sounds good to me.
Comment 2 Mikle Kolyada (RETIRED) archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2016-03-05 17:32:00 UTC
amd64 stable
Comment 3 Pacho Ramos gentoo-dev 2016-03-14 09:12:46 UTC
Maybe we should stop this (and revert amd64 stable) because of problems like this:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94508

Sorry, but my local setups are mostly "single user" and, then, I didn't notice the problem until some familiars told me when updating to this dbus version

@zlogene, could you please revert (I don't have my dev machine now sorry :( )

[master aedd9c8] sys-apps/dbus: Revert stabilization as this adds multiple regressions (#576028)
Comment 5 Toralf Förster gentoo-dev 2016-03-14 21:19:01 UTC
Hhm, after downgrade I do get :

ms-magpie ~ # /etc/init.d/dnsmasq restart
 * Stopping dnsmasq ...                                                                                                                                 [ ok ]
 * Starting dnsmasq ...
/usr/sbin/dnsmasq: /usr/lib64/libdbus-1.so.3: no version information available (required by /usr/sbin/dnsmasq)                                          [ ok ]

This helps:
emerge -1 dnsmasq
Comment 6 Stefan Schmid 2016-11-10 12:34:32 UTC
"/usr/lib/systemd/user/obex.service" from "=net-wireless/bluez-5.43" needs dbus with user-session USE-Flag ("/usr/lib/systemd/user/dbus.socket") to start.

My Setup:
=net-wireless/bluez-5.43
=sys-apps/dbus-1.10.12
=sys-apps/systemd-232
